Today, @ericmwind told us how an auction house made the mistake of calling President Eisenhower’s watch a “million dollar Rolex,” based on, well, wishful thinking. The watch didn’t break half that number and failed to sell. In honor of that, here is a REAL million dollar Rolex, one of eight known reference 4113’s with split-seconds chronograph.
